WMNF Hosts Radio Debate in Florida House District 58 Special Election

Green Party of Florida endorsed candidate Ahmad Saadaldin debates with Democrat Jose Vazquez and Libertarian Bryan Zemia in a radio debate hosted by WMNF in Tampa, Florida on November 27th, 2017.

The Green Party of Florida thanks WMNF Tampa for hosting an Open Debate in the December 19th special election for Florida House District 58.

GPFL Donates $200 to Ahmad For 58 in Dec 19th 2017 Special Election

This month the Green Party of Florida donated $200 (10% of our available funds) into “Shaking up Tallahassee” with our endorsed candidate Ahmad Saadaldin in the December 19th special election for Florida House District 58. Many Greens from across Florida have also joined in supporting this campaign with their own money and volunteer efforts. Misión Boricua: First Recovery Summit for Puerto Rico

The Green Party of Florida has been invited to be one of the co-hosting/sponsoring organizations for this summit along with the U.S. Green Party Latinx Caucus. We want to invite you to Misión Boricua’s First Recovery Summit on Thursday November 16th from 5pm – 8pm. This is the initial conversation of the several that we will have regarding the reconstruction of Puerto Rico. We will be discussing two major topics: Jones Act and voting. Phillip Arroyo, JD., will be one of our speakers with his presentation “The Jones Act: Breaking Puerto Rico’s Shackles” as well as Doug Head, Chairman of County Watch, who will be presenting “Secret of Success for Community Voting.” We will also be registering people to vote and taking voter restoration signatures. In addition, we will also be accepting grocery and household donations for recent arrivals from Puerto Rico which will be donated to Latino Leadership. 11.) Issue Advocacy to promote Systemic Change (Medicare4All, Banking Reform, Modern Monetary Theory, Israeli & Fusil Fuel Divestments) 

12.) Digital Infrastructure Capacity Development (GPFL Software, Nation Builder, Loomio, other proposed and approved upgrades to our Website or Digital Office Space.)
