The Madness of Queen Hillary

Sez Hillary:

“They’re … going to do third party again.  And I’m not making any predictions but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third party candidate.  She’s the favorite of the Russians.  They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far, and that’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up.  Which she might not, ’cause she’s also a Russian asset.

“Yeah, she’s a Russian asset, I mean, totally.  And so, they know they can’t win without a third party candidate and, so, I don’t know who it’s going to be it but I will guarantee you they’ll have a vigorous third party challenge in the key states that they most need it.”

Sez Tulsi:

“You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain.  From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation.  We wondered who was behind it and why.  Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the threat I pose.”

So the Democratic Party squabbles.

“Can’t Anybody Here Play This Game?” — Jimmy Breslin

Ever watch a really bad football game?  One team can’t help making fumbles and throwing interceptions.  The other team gets every good run called back because of stupid penalties.  And as you watch, you think, “I don’t see how either team can win this game!”

While Trump prances about over the killing of al-Baghdadi, the ISIS kahuna, acting like Leslie Nielsen at the start of the movie “Naked Gun,” the Republicans are freaking out as the impeachment process grinds on.  Will Trump actually be impeached?  Will Hillary the Dark Queen go for one “Last Hurrah”?  The Republican senatorial firewall will probably hold fast.  But the bipartisan Deep State is crawling out of the shadows.  The impeachment circus is leaving the Republicans oozing blood from a thousand cuts.  They will be permanently scarred, so mired are they in cruelty and corruption.

The Republican counter-attack will be savage.  Trump’s Attorney General Barr is going to go after the “17 Intelligence Agencies” who manufactured the phony Steele dossier that opened the door to the attempt to either keep Trump from ascending to the Oval Throne (er, Office) or cripple him once he gets there.  Impeachment or not, Barr will score, even as he himself is torn apart.

The Democrats are freaked out because in their presidential clown show, they are decimating themselves.  The DNC is gearing up its Beltway media machine to shred either Sanders or Warren for their crime of advocating in the most milquetoast language Medicare for All and the Green New Deal.  Former front-runner Joe Biden is now a dead man walking.  The UkraineGate revelations, originally directed at Trump, are bringing out Biden’s own shady dealings with his son and Ukraine.  Warren will not be able to run awayfrom her track record as a Wall Street minion.  Sanders — if he survives — will have to make the same kind of pact with the Devil he made back in 2016 when he was forced at political gunpoint to kowtow to Hillary and hit the stump for her short-lived march to the White House.

The Democrats will be left oozing blood from a thousand cuts, so mired are they in cruelty and corruption that it will also leave them permanently scarred.

As Matt Taibbi wrote in 2016, “The model going forward will likely involve Republican media covering Democratic corruption and Democratic media covering Republican corruption. This setup just doesn’t work.”   Taibbi got it right.  It’s only a matter of time before everyone is shouting “lock them up!”

The implosion continues.  Darker currents are running deep.

‘Thank God for Deep State’, ex-CIA boss says.

So reports RT:

“former CIA director John E. McLaughlin at an event this week, describe[d] the diplomats and intelligence officers testifying before the congressional impeachment inquiry as ‘people who are doing their duty or responding to a higher call.’ …

“He wasn’t the only one to praise the Deep State either.  Sitting right next to him was John Brennan, the CIA director under President Barack Obama, whose fingerprints are all over the so-called ‘Steele dossier’ and ‘Russiagate’, and who is now enjoying a rewarding career as a TV pundit accusing Trump of treason.

“Brennan argued that the reason Trump ‘has a contentious relationship with the Deep State people… is because they tell the truth.’”

The cat is now clawing its way out of the bag.  No longer is “Deep State” the exclusive property of the Tinfoil Hat crowd.  Time for some damage control.  And who is better at damage control than the New York TimesMoon of Alabama relates the October 20 New York Times making a “pseudo-revelation”:

They Are Not the Resistance. They Are Not a Cabal. They Are Public Servants.  Let us now praise these not-silent heroes.

“President Trump is right: The deep state is alive and well. But it is not the sinister, antidemocratic cabal of his fever dreams. It is, rather, a collection of patriotic public servants — career diplomats, scientists, intelligence officers and others — who, from within the bowels of this corrupt and corrupting administration, have somehow remembered that their duty is to protect the interests, not of a particular leader, but of the American people.”

The task is now to normalize the Deep State, to portray it as all warm and cuddly, the protector of We, the Little People.   [NYT] October 26, 2019 blurts out “The ‘Deep State’ Exists to Battle People Like Trump.”

“The president and his allies have responded with fury.  Those damning testimonials are part of a political vendetta by ‘Never Trumper’ bureaucrats, members of a ‘deep state’ bent on undermining the will of the people, they assert.  But what is this ‘deep state’?  Far from being a tool of political corruption, the Civil Service was created to be an antidote to the very kind of corruption and self-dealing that seems to plague this administration.

Strategic Culture cuts through the bullshit:

“In America, the Deep State ‘justifies’ itself in the ‘news’-media that it owns, and does so by falsely ‘defining’ what the ‘Deep State’ is (which is actually the nation’s 607 billionaires, whose hired agents number in the millions).  They mis-‘define’ it, as being, instead, the taxpayer-salaried career Government employees, known professionally as ‘the Civil Service.’

“The ‘revolving door’ between ‘the public sector’ and ‘the private sector’ is where the Deep State operations become concentrated.”

The “Deeper State.”

Corruption:  an integral part of American politics from the beginning.

Corruption is a smoke screen, from the start.  The Deep State’s war on Trump has nothing to do with corruption at all.  The big guns have come out over Trump’s challenge to the neocon New World Order, and Trump’s own plan to establish a slightly different New World Order.  It’s rather simple, really.  The neocons are committed to what they insist is the necessity of Full Spectrum Dominance.  Per Wikipedia:

“The military of the United States is deployed in more than 150 countries around the world, with over 170,000 of its active-duty personnel serving outside the United States and its territories.  Outside of active combat, US personnel are typically deployed as part of several peacekeeping missions, military attachés, or are part of embassy and consulate security.  Nearly 40,000 are assigned to classified missions in locations that the US government refuses to disclose.”

Trump holds that this is untenable over-reach.  Pursued to its limits, it will allow the Chinese to supersede the U.S. as the leading world power.  Better to close up shops that are becoming increasingly unprofitable, make peace with Russia, and seek a U.S.-Russian alliance against the “Yellow Menace.”  Send the U.S. Navy to the South China Sea to contend with the “primary threat.”

Please note:  Nowhere in this discussion of the Deep State is there any hint that the Deep State serves at the behest of either the Democratic or the Republican Party.  In fact, it would be much more accurate to understand that these two parties serve at the behest of the Deep State.

Topping the task list of this bi-partisan cabal is to finance expanding U.S. military might by tightening the screws on the American people, and tearing up the Social Contract that implies that the government has some responsibility for the welfare of the people it rules.

Enter Stage Left:  the Green Party.

So I repeat Mad (like a fox) Hillary’s initial quote:

“Yeah, she’s a Russian asset, I mean, totally.  And so, they know they can’t win without a third party candidate and, so, I don’t know who it’s going to be it but I will guarantee you they’ll have a vigorous third party challenge in the key states that they most need it.”

Jill Stein responds:

“Hillary’s rant is Exhibit A for the way that the Cold War is used to stifle dissent — to crack down on people that are not toeing the line in the mainstream of this incredible military-industrial complex which is kind of jerking us all around and dictating our foreign policy.  It’s feeding that war machine instead of really addressing the crises that we’re facing.”

Stein once more:

“In light of the latest slanderous allegations from @HillaryClinton, I challenge her to a debate. It’s past time to give the American people the real debate they deserved in 2016, but were denied by the phony DNC/RNC-controlled Commission on Presidential Debates.”

With both corporate parties generally despised, this is the debate that cannot be allowed.  Sanders and Warren are raising important issues, but they are powerless.  Warren is at best a well-meaning liberal.  Sanders calls for Socialism, but his version is a series of reforms and regulations.  He lacks teeth.

The pundits cry that Sanders’s plans are impractical, unrealistic, can never happen.  But let’s do a quick translation.  The Deep State that has pulled out all the stops to thwart Trump’s particular brand of imperialism would rip into the Sanders brand of reform with an unparalleled fury.  It’s not that Sanders or those who will follow in his footsteps “can’t.”  They mean that the capitalist system can’t do it.  Not and remain a capitalist system.  Furthermore, the Democratic Party they control “won’t” allow them to even try.  As a loyal Democrat, Sanders is defenseless.

An Independent Party, a People’s Economy.

To even to begin to break out of the limitations of production for profit, we have to first be fighting for a whole new party.  Only such an independent party can then fight for a whole new system.  The Green Party calls that new system Ecosocialism.  As the party now states in its platform:

“The Green Party seeks to build an alternative economic system based on ecology and decentralization of power, an alternative that rejects both the capitalist system that maintains private ownership over almost all production as well as the state-socialist system that assumes control over industries without democratic, local decision making.  We believe the old models of capitalism (private ownership of production) and state socialism (state ownership of production) are not ecologically sound, socially just, or democratic and that both contain built-in structures that advance injustices.”

That means democratic control of the essentials.  Direct control.  For looming over the Earth is mass death from Global Warming (“climate change” is such a modest term).  Even now, California burns.  Hurricane-ravaged communities are not rebuilt.  Asian and African coastal areas are threatened by famine and rising seas.

We must take control of electrical grids, food supply, entire transportation systems, housing construction, and so much more.  This is the lesson we must learn from the ashes of California.  This is the harsh reality that defines the difference between the Green New Deal offered up by various leading Democrats, and the Green New Deal that is demanded by the Green Party.  The Ecosocialist Green New Deal.

This is the debate that the system cannot allow.  That is why the very idea of building a powerful third party is coming under attack as never before.  An attack which is just warming up.  That is the debate we must have before the clock runs out.

  1. My take on Clinton’s comments is that she was deliberately lending Gabbard credibility by attacking her – how many people will conclude Clinton attacked her, she must be on the side of the angels? To understand why she would do that one must see what Gabbard’s, and Sanders’, role is. They are Judas goats peddling the lie that there is a place in the Democratic wing of the duopoly for progressives. Why else would they pledge not to run third party and to endorse the nominee when it should be clear that super delegates will anoint that nominee in a second round of voting. Having Gabbard in the race means that the election fraud used to cheat Sanders’ 2016 supporters – he must have been complicit in the election rigging since he didn’t file formal complaints – can be minimized.

On 6-24-2019 I submitted the questions below to Sanders and Gabbard. In response, pointed me to the totally inadequate while did what politicians love to do with inconvenient questions – they ignored them.
Why no one else seems interested in asking these questions, let alone supporting these candidates without reasonable responses, is beyond me. US politics has clearly devolved into a set of competing cults.
    —– my questions
If evidence of election fraud in the 2020 election, or primaries, surfaces, will you promptly call it out? File official complaints? Stand with those demanding a full and proper investigation and prosecution? Can you also please point me to any statements you’ve made regarding Interstate Crosscheck,, ranked choice voting or the Fair Representation Act of 2017 (HR 3057)?
